Hi, I am Anna John, a creative, calm, and enthusiastic professional dedicated to bridging that gap between both the heart of a story and the logic of marketing. My passion for the written word didn’t happen overnight. It evolved over six years of intensive personal and academic writing, shaping both my skills and perspective.
I was born and raised in the suburban hill areas of the Kannur district, which is considered one of the fastest-developing cities in Kerala. Growing up in this environment helped me develop a keen sense of observation and emotional understanding.
Over time, writing became more than just an interest for me. It became a way to understand life and connect with others. I naturally relate to emotions, and this helps me create content that feels genuine, relatable, and meaningful. I believe good content is not only about sharing information but also about making people feel understood.
As a content writer, I focus on maintaining a balance between creativity and clarity. Emotions bring depth to writing, while structure and precision make it effective. This balance allows me to create content that connects with readers and also delivers clear value.
I am disciplined, detail oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines. I can work under pressure without compromising on quality. At the same time, I am always open to learning, improving, and adapting to new trends in content writing and digital marketing.
I believe every brand and every idea has a story worth telling. My role is to shape that story in a way that is simple, honest and impactful.
How Writing Became a Part of Me?
Being the youngest in my family, I was privileged to follow my passion as my core focus. However, the field of writing is challenging and I have faced many obstacles along the way. Writer’s block has been one of the main challenges at times. This is not only just my struggle, it is something every individual who is truly passionate about writing experiences.
I strongly believe that writing is not only a combination of words but also a combination of the emotions one goes through. As a content writer, I understand that professionalism is more important than being overly emotional. However, emotion remains the key to great writing, and I am confident in my ability to balance both.

Haris and Co Academy is a leading digital marketing training institute that helped me build a strong foundation in SEO, social media marketing (SMM), and web development. Through practical learning and expert guidance, I gained essential digital marketing skills that shaped my career and prepared me for real-world projects in the industry
Postgraduate Degree – MA English Language and Literature
I also hold a postgraduate degree in MA English Language and Literature from Sacred Heart College. As a postgraduate student, I worked on research projects and dissertations on different topics. These experiences were eye-opening and helped me develop multiple perspectives.
Undergraduate Degree – BA Communicative English, Political Science & Economics
I earned my undergraduate degree in BA Communicative English, Political Science, and Economics from St. Joseph's College, Bangalore. This phase marked a significant turning point in my writing journey.
During my undergraduate years, I worked on diverse writing tasks based on different prompts, sometimes focusing on simple, everyday objects and at other times on specific products or themes. As part of our academic projects, we were also required to interview strangers, which helped me build confidence in public interactions. These experiences strengthened my communication skills, improved my clarity of expression, and gave me a deeper understanding of myself where not only as a writer, but also as an individual.

Reading
Books are where I live between projects. From literary fiction to quiet essays, I read to think differently.
Writing
Even off the clock, I write. Journal entries, fragments of half-formed ideas, and heartfelt letters to the people I love most. For me, writing has never just been a profession. It is how I feel, how I remember and how I stay close to the ones who matter.

Muhammad Rafi's voice is my reset button. There's a timeless warmth in those melodies that no playlist algorithm can replicate.
Trekking with family
Some of the best conversations happen on trails. Trekking with family means shared silences, shared effort and views worth every step.
Solo cinema
Watching a film alone in a theatre is a ritual, not a compromise. No commentary, no shared popcorn, just me, the dark and the story unfolding on screen.
